I am Registered and Accredited as an Integrative Psychotherapist by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and am a Senior Registered Practitioner of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have been working full time as a Psychotherapist since 1991.
I am also a member of the Faculty of Healthcare Professionals of the BACP which represents counsellors and psychotherapists who work within the National Health Service. Until recently, I was Acting Chair of a local professional association representing counsellors and psychotherapists working within the health service in part of London.
I have run a private practice as a psychotherapist since 1988 (Full time since 1991) in London. I have also worked in Hertfordshire since 1997. I have particular interests in time limited work and in traumatic processes and in the therapeutic relationship. I was involved in supervising the clinical work of counsellors for a counselling service in the voluntary sector in London for ten years 1991 to 2001 and running and working in NHS psychological services since 2000. I work with individuals and couples. Previously I worked as a journalist and a social worker.

The Minster Centre The Minster Centre is one of the foremost training centres for Integrative Psychotherapy in Britain.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy The BACP registers and accredits counsellors in Britain. The BACP register can be searched online by towns and postcodes to find a therapist.
British Confederation of Psychotherapists The BCP is the main registering body for psychoanalytic psychotherapists and psychoanalysts in the UK. Some psychoanalytic training organisations are affiliated to the UKCP. The BCP register can also be searched online.
Post-Adoption Centre The Post-Adoption Centre trains and accredits post-adoption counsellors. Post-Adoption counsellors are qualified counsellors and psychotherapists who have undertaken additional training in the adoption field.
